    Many paddling events and races will consist of professional races, amateur races and also fun floats at the same event. In this way, many different paddlers can enjoy the event and the whole family can find events to match their skill level.

    The Ohio River Way Paddlefest -  June 27 & 28 at Coney Island in Cincinnati, Ohio.
    The Ohio River Way Paddlefest offers races for pros and amateurs plus a leisurely float trip. Last year they had over 1,400 people in over 900 canoes and kayaks participate in the leisurely float trip! The Ohio River will be closed to barge traffic during Paddlefest, so the paddlers can safely enjoy the beautiful river.     Hiawatha Paddling Festival – September 12-14 – Les Cheneaux Islands, Michigan
