We found another great place to paddle! The Puget Sound Challenge
It’s not too late to sign up for the Paddle Washington: Puget Sound Challenge. Event starts on April 4.
This is a 150 nautical mile paddling challenge that is open to kayaking, canoeing and rowing. The challenge is to complete the entire trip in 1 year and is sponsored by the Olympic Kayak Club in Poulsbo, Washington.
Paddling starts at Belfair State Park and ends at Allyn Waterfront Park.
You can paddle any segment or section anytime during the year. You can paddle all segments in one trip or you can make up your own segments.
There will be an official beginning on April 4th at Belfair State Park and end on October 10th at Allyn Waterfront Park.
There is no cost to paddle the Puget Sound Challenge but they are asking for a $25 donation. With your donation: $5 goes to the Washington Water Trail organization, you get a boat decal and a Challenge T-shirt.

This sounds like my kind of paddle! You can start when you want, paddle for as long as you want, take a year to complete the paddle course and you get a T-shirt and a boat decal! Unfortunately the Puget Sound Challenge is too far from my home state for me to paddle this year.
If you go, let us know. We would love to hear from you. Click here to tell us about it!
