2010 Kayaking Race and Fun Paddle in Florida

A kayaking event for every kayaker.

Here is a kayaking event that has something for every kayaker in my family. We have kayakers who love to race to the finish line and kayakers who love to just paddle and enjoy the scenery. We are always looking for events that offer both options and the Chasco Fiesta Kayak Race and Fun Paddle does just that.
The Chasco Fiesta Kayak Race and Fun Paddle will be held on Saturday, March 27th in New Port Richey Florida. The kayak race is 8 miles (approx) and the fun paddle 2 miles (approx). Paddling will be on the historic Pithlachascotee River.

The starting point will be at the James E. Grey Preserve. The ending point will be at Sims Park boat launch in downtown Port Richey. You will need to paddle back to the starting point at James E. Grey or arrange for your own pickup at the Sims Park boat Launch.
