Triathlon

The Great Race – Run, Bike, Paddle.

5.82 mile Run

12.5 mile Bike

6.35 mile Paddle (Kayak or Canoe)

According to their website:

The Great Race Triathlon was established in 1974. It is the World’s Oldest Triathlon and the Country’s Largest Paddling Event. There are many divisions for both teams and ironpersons.

If you have never entered a triathlon, this might be the one for you. Check out their website for all the information you’ll need. You can even view their instructional video on running The Great Race.

5^th Annual Kids Duathlon

Kids can compete in their own event while family members are racing in the Great Race.

This event is for kids 17 & younger. The divisions are Iron kids and teams.

2 mile run

5.75 mile bike

Online entries for both of these events will close July 13^th.

This event celebrates 20 years with lectures, on- water classes, and demonstrations for the novice and experienced paddler (beginner classes & master classes).

Events require pre-registration and are filled on first come, first serve basis.
