I can definitely see the benefits when sea kayaking in Hawaii, the Caribbean or other tropical waters. Even in certain clear or mostly clear running rivers – it would be great for fishing since you could see exactly where your prey is hiding!

The high quality materials have been impact tested – including intense crashing against rocky shorelines, 20 ft drops, hammer blows and an ejection from a vehicle at 70mph. We assume the boat emerged from these test unscathed.

Transportation and storage of this futuristic kayak is made easy because of the anodized aluminum internal frame system. Basically, it’s collapsible – coming from someone who stores her kayak in the living room, that’s a plus in my book.

There was only one review so far on Amazon where the kayak is available for a mere $1,799, and that buyer loved it. I can imagine it would be great for kids – of all ages!
